Michael Brantley

Title

Food and Beverage Manager

Michael began his career with conventions and private events at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Since then, he has spent much of his time in leadership roles within full service restaurants. Michael currently resides in Lakewood Ranch with his wife Stacey, a small business owner and their two daughters, Sophie and Hannah. You will most likely find him spending his free time at the beach, playing in the sand with his girls. Michael is looking forward to serving the Esplanade community and providing the highest level of hospitality. Justice Neal

Executive Chef

Born and raised in rural Wisconsin, Chef Justice Neal started his career at a young age. You could almost always find him in his mother's kitchen learning her kitchen confidentials. Chef started participating in local culinary competitions at the age of 12 and even took gold in a few, even at such a young age! At the age of 14, he started his career at his local country club making daily soup and working his way through the line. Most of his adult life has been spent working in high-end, high-profile kitchens in Milwaukee and Chicago. There, he managed two kitchens that made the Michelin Bib Gourmand list. He moved to Florida in 2020 to advance his career in the food and beverage industry. “I look forward to representing Esplanade and providing high end, consistent service to all of our members.”

Bryce Sams

Title

Sous Chef

Bryce has worked in the field of culinary arts throughout Michigan and Washington state for the past 12 years and has honed his skills at many different establishments such as a Breakfast Diner, an English Pub, Italian, French and Thai cuisines, as well as Butchery. He started his career at a local country store in Michigan, learning to butcher and process meats, and catering for weddings. He was the executive chef at the Streamliner Diner for Italian dinners and has prepared a variety of Italian dishes and pastas. Bryce credits his love of cooking to his Aunt & Uncle whom have owned restaurants in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years. While working at Esplanade Country Club he plans to pass along knowledge, techniques and insights to other cooks to create delicious and incredible dishes.
